What’s the difference between a Proxy and a VPN?
Both a Proxy and a VPN allow you to appear in a different location from the one that you are in, both change your IP and route your traffic through a server. A VPN encrypts all of your traffic and program data - a Proxy does not. Proxies are considered to be inferior to a VPN as it does not secure and protect your data.
How much does a VPN cost?

Is a VPN difficult to set up?
